چکیده

Max-pressure signal control has been analytically proven to maximize the network throughput and stabilize queue lengths whenever possible. Since there are many transit lines operating in metropolis, max-pressure should be extended multi-modal transportation systems achieve more widespread usage. The standard controller is likely actuate phases during high-demand approaches, which may end up ignoring arrival of buses, especially bus rapid transit. In this paper, we propose a novel that considers priority both maximum stability for private vehicles reliable service. This study revises original include constraints provide buses. Furthermore, policy decentralized means it only relies on local conditions each intersection. We set simulation real-world road with systems. Numerical results show can still compared other integrated priority. reduces vehicle travel time current control. • combines first time. designs dynamic queueing models vehicles. A Methodology for Obtaining Signal Coordination within A Distributed Real- Time Network Signal Control System with Transit Priority

Real-time network signal control offer the potential to provide delay benefits over traditional fixed time and actuated control. The SPPORT (Signal Priority Procedure for Optimization in Real-Time) model is a fully distributed heuristic rule-based signal control method that explicitly considers transit priority. While a distributed architecture enables the network control problem to be decompos...

Simulation of Transit Signal Priority Using the NTCIP Architecture

Transit Signal Priority (TSP) is an important element of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) that involves coordinated efforts between transit vehicle detection systems, traffic signal control systems, and communication technologies. Successful deployment of TSP requires thorough laboratory evaluation through simulation before field implementation. This paper presents the development and application of a s...

Real-Time Traffic Signal Intelligent Control with Transit-Priority

This paper proposes a real-time traffic signal intelligent control method with transit-priority. The objective of this control method is to reduce the delays of passengers and special vehicles. Transit-priority is divided into the special transit-priority which is an absolute priority and the normal transit-priority which is a relative priority. When the detectors in the red phase detect specia...

a study on rate making and required reserves determination in reinsurance market: a simulation

reinsurance is widely recognized as an important instrument in the capital management of an insurance company as well as its risk management tool. this thesis is intended to determine premium rates for different types of reinsurance policies. also, given the fact that the reinsurance coverage of every company depends upon its reserves, so different types of reserves and the method of their calc...

Transit Signal Priority: Proposing a Novel Algorithm to Decrease Delay and Environmental Impacts in BRT Route Intersections

Intersections are considered as the most critical parts of the bus rapid transit (BRT) system. Transit signal priority is one of the efficient solutions to reduce BRT fleet delays at intersections. The aim of this study is to propose a new algorithm to decrease the BRT fleet delays at actuated intersections, while reducing the negative impacts on different approaches. The adaptive strategy is a...
